Kom fram igår kl 2.00 vid mitt hotell. Nu är jag helt slut efter en hel dag med teori och lekandet vid bassängen.

Back on track, eller hur man vill tolka det.

Ja, efter en månads tystnad på bloggen bestämmer jag mig för att äntligen igen fortsätta med bloggandet. Mest eftersom jag själv kan skratta åt mina dumma inlägg när jag blir äldre (om du läser detta hoppas jag du skrattar i framtiden betty!)
November gick förbi som vinden i håret. Medförde minnen för livet och även andra tråkiga. Så mycket saker att jag knappast kommer ihåg hälften av allt! Därför kommer jag tyvärr inte dela med mig dem. Men som tröst kan jag säga att November var en månad då jag utförde en hel del shopping så antagligen  har jag slösat pengar ett halvt år framåt...igen.

Mitt arbete fortsätter ombord på Gabriella ända tills bytet till Grace sker. Mitt tillfälliga schema för januari kom med posten och så som det nu ser ut kommer jag att börja mitt nya arbete den 7.1.2013. Detta har gett mig blandade känslor. Just nu är jag så förvirrad IGEN, eftersom jag helt klart har väldigt svårt att bestämma mig vart jag vill flytta. Ni förstår, denna gång nöjer jag mig inte med vilken lägenhet som helst.

Detta får bli ett litet smakprov för er denna gång. Kommer inte att ha tillgång till dator så mycket under hela december månaden eftersom jag kommer att resa en hel del och har tagit emot en massa jobbturer också. Kan även meddela att jag åker iväg imorgon på livbåtsmannakurs och säkerhetskurs i 6 dagar på Åland-Åbo-Åland-Åbo..hjälp!. Förhoppningsvis har hotellet som jag bor på wifi nät iallafall.

Skall lägga upp en favorit i repris. Snart börjar ett nytt kapitel i livet igen. Nya utmaningar och nya drömmar, HÄRLIGT!

Perfect glogg evening and first snow

This picture here under describes yesterday. I made really good food here at home and after that I went for a glogg evening with Cessi and Mixu. We watched the Halloween movie and scared up each-other..

And all I can say is that it couldn't have been a better day, I mean when I woke up I wound a layer of the first snow on the backyard.. Soon it's Christmas so I have to start buying everyone presents and put up my Christmas lights! 

Bilden ovanför beskriver gårdagen i ett nötskal. Jag gjorde värsta restaurang käket hemma och efter det blev det en glögg kväll med Cessi och Mixu. Vi kollade på Halloween filmen och skrämde upp varandra förstås.. Allt jag kan säga är att vi kunde inte ha valt en bättre dag för idag när jag vaknade och kollade ut genom fönstret låg ett lager första snön på bakgården... Kan inte tro det, snart är det jul! vilket betyder att jag måste börja köpa julklappar åt alla och sen få pynta mitt rum med jullamporna!

swimming and eating.

Today we went swimming with Tesse. It felt so good, even if we weren't in the pools so long, but the steam sauna was incredible. After that we decided to get something to eat, this time we went to Subway.

oh and.. I found some stuff that I really need! Bought lipbalm,a new mascara,  a nourishing night cream, eye drops (have been getting really dry eyes lately on the boat),  new pyjamas pants, a kettlebell, cosy slippers and also donating breast cancer.

Idag har vi åkt iväg till simhallen med min väninna Tesse. Det var riktigt skönt! även fast vi inte satt länge vid polen. Ångbastun gjorde nog susen.. Efter detta beslöt vi oss för att åka och äta någonting, denna gång fick det bli Subway.
Förstås hittade jag en massa saker som jag verkligen är i behov av just nu. Köpte läppfett, ny mascaram , favorit nattkrämen, ögondroppar(har så torra ögon på båten), nya pyjamasbyxor, en kahvakuula, urmysiga morgontofflor och donera pengar till förkämpning av bröstcancer.

Nowadays the boat feels like my home. There is so much great people there and lately I've been there so much!

Anyway, I stayed for two days more there working as an entertaining person for children. And it was so fun! Even if I had to dance&sing to many different children songs. But I loved it, and we also had Scrat from Ice Age visiting! So guess what? going onboard on Saturday again as a spa-terapeut and next Monday I'm changing to work as an entertaining person for children. It's really nice to get to do many different kind of stuff!

Hej alla! Bestämde mig för att börja skriva på svenska igen, efter vissa önskemål. Iallafall, nuförtiden känns det som båten skulle vara mitt andra hem. Där finns en massa härliga människor och på senaste tiden har jag spenderat så mycket tid där!

Stannade två dagar till ombord och jobbade som barnledare. Och jag hade nog så roligt! Även fast jag hamnade dansa& sjunga till en massa finska barnlåtar som "sutsisatsa" och "frontside ollie" som barnen sedan skulle apa våra dansmoves. Sedan hade vi även Scrat från Ice Age filmerna som gäst. Fich även dra Bingo tävlingarna och en stund även dra karaoken.
 Men vet ni vad? denna tjej åker iväg på jobb igen på lördan två dagar som Spa terapeut och sedan jobba som barnledare igen! Det måste jag ännu säga, det är kul att få göra lite olika saker ibland!

Health and beauty fair

So this was how my day looked like. Went to the health &beauty fair in Helsinki. I actually bought a bathrobe and two naildecorationsticks. And a lot of free testers of diffenernt kind off moizturisers.
Now I'm satisfided and can start my work gladly :)

running

This is how it looks when you're going for a run here in Finland.. It's freezing and hazily. But on the bright side you also get to enjoy the colors of the leafs.
And back to jogging.. here I am dreaming about my own pulse clock to make my running even more interesting. This one bellow I've been checking on. It doesn't cost so much, but it isn't with the cheapest ones either. This one will take my pulse, the speed and calculate how long I've been running. Hmm.. have to think about it!

next year plans!

So congratulations to myself! I accepted the job. This means that I'm not going to the USA next year, which is sad, but I think this really was the best solution. And who knows? - Maybe I'm going as an Au pair later in my life, but this is also something I love to do.

Right now this feels great. Few of my c:o workers from the boat that I'm now working on will also come to the new boat. I'm really looking forward to get to work there! New year, new job and new goals! 

training inspiration

I was so sore and tired from the body pump training last evening but still, I raised my ass up and went to the gym for 2 hours. Those hours may have felt like the longest ones ever, but I won't stop until I get a strong healthy looking body. And I have to be honest, my muscles feels better now! 

Have to decide between two dreams!

Saturday started just fine, I woke up, contacted Cessi to come out for a run. 

We tried to search for their missing cat Kalle. But we couldn't find him :( 

Also we decided to take a look at the new "sportpark" in Inkoo. I'm glad they spent money on this actually!

Later I noticed that the chief for the hotel had left me an e-mail that she's been trying to contact me but didn't reach me and if I could call her when I saw the mail. Tried to call her but she didn't answer. A couple hours later she rang back and ask if I was still interested about the job at the new ferry boat M/S Grace, Viking Line. I was so shocked, for a few weeks I got an e-mail where it stood that they couldn't offer me the job I applied this time..

Now I got a week on me to decide if I'm going to take this job.. I mean this is a HUGE opportunity. This was my dream workplace. To work as a beautician and on a wonderful, dreamy ferry boat.

But the dream crashed a bit when I received the mail about me not getting the job and I started to dream more and plan my year in the USA working as an Au Pair with children...

The chief said that they looking forward to get me to their team and that there have been people recommending me from the course at Långvik and from the boat were I am now working. They've tried to reach me for weeks but couldn't get any answer so the chief sent we and e-mail to see if I'm okay.

I think that they even got the wrong phone number? Because I got a new phone and number but I still have my old one but I haven't received any phone calls at all?
I been thinking a lot about this now since yesterday. I was so happy but still so unsure.. But we decided to celebrate the great news anyway with Cessi! First we went to Restaurant Sågen and ate juicy Salmon. And later, we ended up sitting drinking two glas of longdrinks with familiar friends at our home bar.

Friday IKEA.

There is so many times I've asked myself "Why doesn't I live in Sweden?" I mean, they got everything there. One shop really close to my heart is the IKEA. I always buys so much things that I don't really need from there. And why? maybe because there's so much good prices!

So the Friday started really quiet, Tesse called me on the morning and asked "what are our plans today?" well, we came up with the brilliant idea to go shopping, I was really going to buy myself more training clothes and Tesse was really just needing a iron to make waffles. But surprisingly we both didn't come home with these things. Just many other stuff..

When we we're on our way to Iso-Omena (Finnish shopping mall) we decided to also go to IKEA. We saw many Christmas lights so guess what we did later that evening?- we drank GLOGG with Hanna & Niki who also came to visit us home at Tesses.

And good folks. I discovered the lovely, sweetest and..oh what can I say? -I became a huge fan of frozen yogurt.

Now I feel so lazy nowadays, and the rain is really not helping at all! Can't even go out for a run so I decided to buy me a month gym-card again.

New lamp

So my room have been without a roof lamp for about.. Well ever since I moved back home. Why? Maybe because I have been lazy and haven't bought one or something like that.. But tadaa! Betty's room got a new look!

after rain comes sun, even in Finland!

I'm back from my little job trip with a new jacket,a cozy wool pullover and a black skirt richer.  

The moment I walked in to the H&M store I felt in love with Lana Del Rey's collection. I even like her music! Her styles remember me of the old Hollywood, the mystic show music and the clothes are pure, sweet , feminim and gorgeous! 

Friday was a little bit quiet but the Saturday was so full booked! Even took a picture from the Swedish newspaper- aftonbladet. (love to read it every morning) The headline was about a new service they come up with in Sweden; getting booze and liqueur drove home to your house from the store. I thought it was hilarious and maybe a little bit unnecessery. Are people really that lazy to get their own booze nowadays?

It was also so beautiful sky this weekend in Sweden and NOTICE-FINLAND! 

I don't know I many times I just stared out of the window during sunrising and downrising. But the truth is - If the sun is shining then I am shining! :)

sleeping beauty!

 I woke up as the happiest person on this earth today! I bought myself a heated underblanket to my bed! You see, in Finland we have very cold weather almost all the time.. And especially my room, it becomes a freaking igloo after summer!
You see, I have a tendency to freeze a lot so sometimes I even wake up in the night because of that. And I'm already sleeping with a sheet and a blanket. I even have to sleep with double sheets and blankets in wintertime..
I slept like a baby! love it.

And so the schooltraining continued and it feels already so much better! Maybe because we got to do some treatments? ;)  Anyhow, I'm NOT complaining!

One of my c:o worker also made me the "herringbone" today, thihi (I know, I got so short hair nowadays..) and tomorrow she promised to show me how to do a french plait or braid, not sure what is it called on English?

School training at Långvik Congress Wellness hotel

So today was the first training day at Långvik. The day started really good, I picked up one of my c:o workers from the railing station and we went to the hotel.
It was kinda blurry, we didn't exactly know we're to go and the receptionist was busy talking on the phone. But after a while the headmaster of the hotel came to meet us in the lecture hall.
We came in to a beautiful auditorium with a wonderful relaxing spirit. Some candles and mood lights. And an enormous tv screen! It reminded me of a cinema...



Got a bunch of papers and went almost the whole
day true everything! I must be honest, in the end I was so tired of just sitting and listening. Really hoping that we'll get to do some practical training tomorrow!

Anyway, now I'm going to drink tea, take a shower and then watch some tv and go to sleep!

October party

So yesterday was the big October party here in my hometown. And it was so fun! Even made my new favorite drink (something I came up with)kinda reminding of the "Glass Vegas"-drink that Emma showed me once!
I would describe it as the day I drank a lot of beer, listened to great music, danced with Hanna to one of the greatest songs ever "simply the best", laughed so much with familiar friends, saw old teachers, walked in the rain to our pub downtown and almost walked all the way home! But thanks cride and ludde for picking me up!

Memories for life now, thank you everyone! 

Friday stuff

was bored so, I decided to get creative ! haha, I think my toenails are cute..

The evening was spend as Hanna's house. A healthy and cosy friday with carrots, cucumber, paprika and dip. Best "candy" ever!  And oh, then we also saw The Avengers movie!

Today it's the big October party here in my hometown.. Going to be interesting to see what they come up with.! And I get to try my new Baileys bottle..

Breaking surprise

This wasn't exactly what I planned to do on my freetime.. But yeah, schooltraining 1-5.10 from 9am to 18pm..

get another weekend behind!

Hello readers!
Yesterday was spent at my old classmate Kira with Hanna. We ate some spaghetti and minced meat and just talked about the past, you know old high school memories that never dies.. discussed about where and what everybody was doing now a days. Even if I don't see her very often it still feels like you never forget about each-other. And that must be true friendship even if we had our ludicrous small fights years ago about.. boys maybe? -haha!

So anyway, my boss called me yesterday also and as it seems, I'm going today back to the ship and not tomorrow as I thought I was.. So we couldn't spend the night at Kira's this time.
There was also a huge thunderstorm yesterday when we were driving back home.. and it has been raining since yesterday. (welcome to Finland)

So now I'm trying to pack my bag again. I'm just going to be 4 days at the Viking Line this time, but still, I always pack to much with me..

candy, roller coaster and the market!

We had the perfect weather when we went to Tammisaari today.. You see, every year there is a big Autumn market here in South Finland at Tammisaari city. No matter if you're living like me and my friends about.. well 40km away from the place you have to go there!

Younger teenagers always goes there to get drunk but when you grow older, you just want to walk around there watching at "things-you-don't-really-need", enjoying watching the roller coasters, play some games and buy A LOT of candy.

And me and my friends, well we did ride the roller coaster and I bought a box full off chocolate kisses!  Once again the Tammisaari market was beautiful, cold and just wonderful!

So there I was. Trying to put my video together and BAM! - windows movie maker refused to play my videos.. Sometimes, I hate computers..
I sent a e-mail to them and perhaps I'm getting an answer why it didn't work so I can continue..  

ps. Thank you for the rainy days here in Finland. Now I'm not feeling guilty for sitting inside the house the whole day. haha! cheers, going to read my book and enjoying a glass of wine. Haven't done that in weeks!

So Betty went out for a run and came home with the next GIG plans. We're having a little October party here in my home town and there's also going to be artists there, ex. Mikko Sipola who won the finnish "Voice of Finland"-contest. And he's quite good and a lot of my friends are also going so looking forward to the party!

So we started our day at Helsinki with getting something to eat at the Colorado Mts. Bar & Grill 
 I got myself a dry apple cider and a really big chicken burrito with nachos on it. DELICIOUS!

Waiting downstairs at the Hartwall Arena, Helsinki, we got really good places near the scen AND in the middle! :)

First up was Daughtry, which was really good. He has an amazing voice!

Also had to buy a new shirt for me -30€! :) Haven't decided if I'm going to use it as a PJ or putting it in to a frame on the wall...
